Gymnastics Competitive Team Try Outs
3 Super Stars
Get ready for the competitive season! Try out for the competitive team are held every year to ensure gymnasts are ready to safely participate at this level. Gymnasts will compete in the Michigan Recreational Gymnastics League at several meets throughout the season.

This class is for the high school age gymnasts to work on skills to prepare them for their high school season. Practices are twice a week to prepare for competition and develop skills. Summer training is a great time to work on new skills. This is for all skill levels.

Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People

In just a few hours you can learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment, and you won’t have to take private lessons to do it. This crash course will teach you some basic chords and get your playing along with your favorite songs right away. Fee includes the online book, online follow up lessons, a recording of the class and also an optional periodic question and answer session. Class is hosted online using ZOOM and is partly hands on instructions and partly lecture/demonstration.

Linden Boys Jet League Basketball

Linden Community Education will be participating in the Genesee County Boys Jet League Travel Basketball Program for 4th-6th grade boys. The intent of this program is to provide the boys of Linden the opportunity to learn, at a young age, the fundamentals required in order to be competitive while playing basketball. Registration deadline is Nov. 26th, 2025. All registration must go through Linden Community Education Full payment of $125 is due at the time of registration Price includes a reversible team jersey Games will be on Saturdays from January through March Practice/game schedules will be available after team selection Expect practices to start first week of December We cannot run this program without the help of volunteer coaches. All 3rd-6th grade girls are welcome to this fun and energetic clinic! No previous experience is necessary, just bring your smiles and outside voices! The Cheer Clinic girls will cheer the first half of the Linden Eagles Varsity home game on Aug. 28th at 7:00 p.m. vs. L’Anse Creuse. Please meet in the LHS Cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. on game day. Must be registered by August 11th. Please wear shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. Hair should be out of their face for the clinic. Don’t forget your water!

Love Your Gut - Sourdough Workshop

Join us for a fun, educational and hands-on workshop where you will learn how to make your own gut-friendly sourdough bread from scratch. You will leave with a loaf in progress, an established sourdough starter in a mason jar, tea towel and a wealth of knowledge to bake bread and achieve optimal gut health! Please bring your own large bowl and spoon.

1 K-3rd grader + 1 parent/caregiver. Please only enroll 1 person for each couple. Please bring a mat for each participant, water and wear comfortable clothing Move, breathe and bond together! This beginner-level yoga class is designed for parents (or caregivers) and children to explore yoga in a fun and nurturing environment. Through playful movement, simple poses, partner activities and mindful breathing, families will build strength, flexibility and connection - both physically and emotionally.

Interactive curriculum is tailored to older adults and caregivers. A comprehensive seminar on the unique nutritional needs of older adults aimed at supporting health, vitality and independence throughout the aging process. Topics will include understanding the importance of specific nutrients for the aging body, navigating common dietary supplements, controlling blood sugar, food safety and preparation, and budget-friendly meal planning.
