Linden/Fenton Schools high school "Heat" Girls Lacrosse in collaboration with Linden Youth Lacrosse, Fenton Area Schools and Linden Community Education is proud to announce "Junior Heat Girls Lacrosse"! This program will be led by Varsity Heat Coach Isabel Greene and Youth Coach Shari Luck for 6th-8th grade girls. The premise of this program is to introduce the sport and give young ladies an opportunity to participate and learn the game. Here is what to expect for the season: Early Bird Registration fee: $180/player now through March 3rd $200/player after March 3rd Practice 1-2 times per week Practices will be at Linden and/or Fenton fields as available Game schedule will be April-May, location and game days may vary with weekend games likely We are accepting middle school girls from Linden and Fenton Learn defense, attack, midfield and goalie positions

These classes are designed to provide the female athlete at all skill levels with specialized group & individual instruction. They will have the opportunity to develop all fundamental skills of catching & pitching: mechanics, form, drills and mental approach. Coaches and parents are encouraged to attend, help and learn. Catchers are FREE and encouraged to come! Must bring your own catcher. Soft indoor balls ONLY! (Easton Incrediballs) Ages 7-9: 7:00-8:00 p.m. Ages 10+: 8:00-9:00 p.m.

Join the Jr. Heat coaches as they put on a free clinic for all 6th-8th grade girls. this is a great way to get introduced to the sport and get a little taste of what to expect in the Jr. Heat season starting in the spring!

Linden Community Education will be participating in the Genesee County Boys Jet League Travel Basketball Program for 4th-6th grade boys. The intent of this program is to provide the boys of Linden the opportunity to learn, at a young age, the fundamentals required in order to be competitive while playing basketball. Registration deadline is Nov. 26, 2024. All registration must go through Linden Community Education Full payment of $100 is due at the time of registration Price includes a reversible team jersey Games will be on Saturdays from January through March Practice/game schedules will be available after team selection We cannot run this program without the help of volunteer coaches.
